'Twas the Fourth Night of Break

The Ask: KFC looked to close the year with a memorable holiday campaign. Our goal was to find a natural way to integrate their famous fried chicken offerings into seasonal traditions.

The Insight: We recognize that replacing the traditional holiday meal was unrealistic. Instead, we identified a strategic window between Christmas and New Year’s – a time when “holiday fatigue” sets in. We positioned KFC as the perfect solution for families who are tired of cooking and cleaning and still want a quality meal to share with visiting guests.

The Brief: We aim to show that when the holidays get chaotic, KFC provides a seamless way to keep the family gathered around a meal they love to celebrate a finger-lickin’ holiday season.

The Results: By positioning KFC as a solution for the holiday season, we shifted consumer perception during the year’s busiest weeks. The campaign successfully drove holiday demand, ending the season strong with high sales.
